SANUKI UDON

This is a simple concept of a Japanese noodle outlet. If you're looking for a not-so-heavy meal but yet satisfying, this is the shop to go to. They have one branch in Taman Bukit Desa and another in Kota Kemuning. I've tried both branches and found that the quality and quantity were consistent.

In Kota Kemuning (up & down)

Basically, they serve udon (slightly thick, square-shaped & flat-edged noodle) accompanied with various ingredients such as with eggs, fried fish cakes, chicken & etc.
You may also order extra small dishes such as the half-boiled eggs, fried chicken, fried vegetables and etc. As for the big eaters, you might want to consider ordering 2 bowls of udon.

Do not worry about being overwhelmed by the Japanese names of the dishes as they provide clear descriptions and pictures for all the dishes that they serve there. They also provide a checklist for you to tick what you want to make ordering easier as shown below. P.S: I forgot to take a picture of the menu that shows all the pictures. The prices of the noodles ranged from about RM6 to RM25.

And as usual, green teas are refillable :)

So far the ones that I've tried tasted really good, but not very satisfying. Hence, I ordered some extra dishes to compensate the space in my stomach. Overall, it was good. I would definitely go back there for lunch or maybe brunch.

Happy eating :)
